Manuel Ribeca learned to love club music from the dancefloor before taking his place behind the decks. Nights at Perugia’s Red Zone were an early education, while visits to Ibiza and Miami brought him closer to Luciano’s Latin-house selections and, later, Solomun’s melodic approach. His own music has continued towards groove-led tech-house, including releases on Sola, Clarisse, La Pera and Motel Calypso.
Ibiza is also where Ribeca’s work extends beyond his own sets. At Tantra he has worked in artist liaison and alongside the team selecting guests, a role he describes as a continuing lesson in professionalism and musical sensitivity. His Privacy party began in 2019 as a space for his own sound and for emerging artists to play on the island. In the studio, that club perspective is audible in Traigo Mi Flow, built around Latin-influenced rhythms and a repeated vocal hook. DJing, producing and helping shape a night are interconnected parts of his life in Ibiza.
