Veak treats jungle as both a finished record and working material. The French producer, identified in release credits as Julien Petit, has spent roughly two decades in electronic music and fifteen years focused on jungle and drum & bass. His catalogue combines label releases with a steady flow of dub-oriented packs, VIP versions, samples and production resources for other DJs. Records have appeared through Technique, Serial Killaz, Jungle Cakes, Liondub and Run Tingz, while his own Dubplate Supplier outlet has become the project’s main workshop. Its Dubplate Dose series gathers fresh selections before wider digital release, keeping the music close to sound-system practice. In 2026 that output included Blacklight, No Soft Sound, Oracle, Quantum Drift and Kashmere, alongside an appearance on Original Key Records’ JUNGLE! compilation. Across this large discography, Veak’s focus remains direct and functional: breakbeats, bass pressure and tracks made to be selected, rebuilt and played loud.
