Biografia
Omega Drive was born in 1985 in Šibenik, Croatia. He began his career in music production in 2004. In 2008 he opened his own label called Techno Artillery Records. This label became an important story in the techno scene, with many high-quality releases and producers leading it into the top techno labels worldwide.
Techno Artillery Records featured many talented producers such as Sinisa Tamamovic, Mladen Tomic, DJ Bold, DJ Link, Goncalo M., DJ Gumja, Veztax, Aitor Ronda, Peppelino, Svetec, Rantan, Odessa Soundfreaks, Kali, Marco Woods, Vincent de Wit, Fatima Hajji, C-System, Peter Fern, Bob D, DJ Pest and many others.
The label was featured in top electronic magazines in Spain such as DJ1 Magazine. Omega Drive’s remix work includes well-known names like Pedro Delgardo, Michal Poliak, Indecent Noise, DJ Link, Axel Karakasis, Dave The Drummer, and Mladen Tomic.
His tracks received support from artists such as Carl Cox, John Askew, Bryan Kearney, Pedro Delgardo, DJ Murphy, Axel Karakasis, Bryan Cox, DJ Link, and Wehbba.
Omega Drive has released music on labels associated with major international artists including Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Tiga, Tube & Berger, W&W, Cosmic Gate, Jerome Isma-Ae, Emma Hewitt, Markus Schulz, Orjan Nilsen, Cristian Varela, Trevor Rockcliffe, Paco Osuna, Gayle San, Thomas Schumacher, Torsten Kanzler, Monika Kruse, The Advent, Jamie Anderson, Carl Craig, Joel Mull, Angel Alanis, Adam J, Len Faki, Eric Sneo, Michael Burkat, and others.
His first vinyl was released in 2010 on Koitus Records. In 2010 he released a major project titled “My Life Is Techno & This Is Who I Am,” containing 50 original tracks. In 2011 he appeared on the compilation Tequila Sunshine Vol.3 on Desperadoz Records, later released in Germany.
Omega Drive has released the EP “Techsturbation” on Techsturbation Records, owned by DJ Gumja from Slovenia. His track “Symphony” achieved notable success within techno charts.
In 2014 Omega Drive was selected as a global music ambassador by Umek. His track “Creative Destruction” was released on Techsturbation Records and featured on the WAO138 compilation on Armada Records.
Omega Drive has performed in countries including Venezuela, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. His music is known for being energetic and powerful, ranging from funky and driving techno to hardgroove styles.
