Biografia

Claus Pieper’s solo music draws on deep house, house and chillout, following a long career in Germany’s electronic scene. He co-founded Genlog with Ingo Kays and Oliver Kuntzer in the early 1990s, performed at events including Mayday and Nature One, and helped establish Raveline magazine. His work also includes the soundtrack to Angel Express and the Eigenart partnership with Werner Balzuweit. After years of live work with Genlog, he began releasing under his own name in 2023 through M-Sol Deep, Tibetania and Noom. That year he founded Urbanic Music, while projects such as Triance with Jens Ebert and Loft 15 A continued his collaborative and solo studio practice. Now based in Fulda, he combines music-making with a separate career in fitness.
