Biografia
Forbidden Society brings a punk-and-metal background into electronic music, with a career that reaches from hardcore, jungle and breakcore to deep drum and bass and 140-BPM productions. Czech producer Jindřich Brejcha established the project at the more abrasive end of the spectrum, then gradually made room for quieter, more reflective work without abandoning its intensity.
His relationship with VISION includes Noisia remixes, the Subworld EP and the album Lonely Road. The latter developed over two years of exchanging demos, with encouragement from Nik Roos and the label team allowing it to take shape without an initial album deadline.
Forbidden Society Recordings gives him an independent platform alongside those collaborations. Appearances at Let It Roll and a label stage at Beats for Love keep him closely connected to the Czech scene. Away from the studio, cycling, swimming and walking in the woods provide a contrast to the music's pressure and a way to return to it with fresh attention.
