MNDSCP is the Budapest drum & bass producer long known as Mindscape, a project built around heavyweight neurofunk with an insistence on funk and feeling. It began as a trio in 2003 and became a solo undertaking in 2007, the year Black Lotus appeared on Citrus. Subsequent music has reached Commercial Suicide, Subtitles and Eatbrain.
Albums have given his ideas a wider setting, from the science-fiction framework of The Reanimator to The Cult of Bass on Eatbrain in 2026. His earlier listening moved through metal, hardcore and hip-hop before Goldie's Inner City Life opened the door to drum & bass. Learning through friends, record shops and early production software, he developed the technical practice behind the music while keeping groove central to it. The shortened MNDSCP spelling continues the same project and pronunciation.
