Roberto Bonetti aka Bodyscrub, was born in Naples in 1982. His father was the bassist of the "Clap," a rock band of the 80s. Roberto, at the age of ten, started to get interested in music, trying to play different instruments like the piano, bass, and various percussions, but it wasn't what he dreamed...
In 1998, he began to approach electronic music, in fact he starts to play in different clubs of Naples and also he starts to work with various promoters that offered him the opportunity to propose house music and electro-house until 2006, when he chooses to start a new professional life, different from DJing.
In 2009 he met the important DJ/Producer Sasha Carassi, who convinced him to continue with music, so he became a member of Phobiq, one of the best labels of the emerging European techno scene. In 2010 he released his first vinyl, remixing Brian Sanhaji, an important German producer, with Phobiq Recordings label, and some time later, he released his first EP "The Pusher". In 2011, comes his consacration with the release of his third vinyl "Hyperactive," with "Driving Forces Recording" supported by the best artists of the techno music scene.
Roberto enjoys electronic and determined sounds, restless bassline and ringing ride, psychedelic sounds and weird noises. His music is deeply hypnotic and the power of the deep cerebral ambience of the tracks is infused with an all-consuming dancefloor energy—brightness and dark blend perfectly.
In recent years Bodyscrub has worked with various international labels such as Phobiq, Driving Forces Recordings, 1605, Respekt, Sleaze, Rhythm Converted, Hidden Recordings, Definitive, Capsula, Globox, getting support from the biggest DJs in the world including Umek, Adam Beyer, Dj Rush, Eddie Halliwell, Popof, Dubfire, Slam, Cari Lakebusch, Sasha Carassi, Joseph Capriati, Rino Cerrone, Markantonio, Joey Beltram, Chris Liebing, Marco Bailey, Spektre, Axel Karakasis, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Tom Hades, and many more.
