About Stranjah

Bio

Stranjah is one of the early ambassadors of drum and bass in North America. With over 20 years of experience crafting bass-oriented electronic music, the savvy veteran is still churning out some of his best material to date. His early production endeavours were clearly influenced by house, low-end hip-hop and various other forms of early bass music. Splashing onto the scene initially with then-partner-in-crime Gremlinz, his music found its way into the hands of legends like Goldie, L Double and Doc Scott, all of whom were keen on playing his music and ultimately signed him to their respective imprints Metalheadz, Flex and 31 Records. Recently Stranjah has done work for massive labels such as Critical Music and Hospital Records. His modern-day sound is a fusion of his many influences characterized by expressive bass squelches, 90's synths and syncopated drums. Stranjah also runs his own record label Deviant Audio uncovering new talent and exploring the boundaries of bass music. His goal in 2020 is to make strides in the urban and pop music world by bringing his expertise in electronic music into this exciting industry.
