hough they’re only in their mid-20s, Gerardo Cedillo and Emanuel Cedillo have been intimately involved in dance music for over a decade. They got their start as Kry-Lon, a duo that sat at the forefront of the “new rave” scene in his hometown of Tijuana, Mexico. In the years since, Cedillo brothers have grown enormously as producers, DJ’s and multi-instrumentalists, and they keep themselves busy running the label Vicario Musique Recordings. As Soul Of Hex, they conjure astral deep house odysseys, drawing from the raw sensuality and restraint of classic house and techno, while incorporating jazzy flourishes and colorful shifts in tone, rhythm and texture. In 2014, Larry Heard himself stepped in to remix the Soul Of Hex track “Lip Reading,” and his DJ schedule has been hectic ever since, including an appearance at Amsterdam’s Dekmantel Festival in 2017. In 2018, Gerardo was chosen to be part of the last Red Bull Music Academy in Berlín. Recently, their song ‘’Psychic’’ was featured on DJ Harvey’s ‘’Mercury Rising Vol. 3’’ on Pikes Ibiza. Their last release "Contellation EP" was released on Jimpster’s, Delusions of Grandeur.

Armless kid is a french young self-taught artist who has been working the Paris house circuit for a little while with famous collectives there just as la Chinerie or Copie Blanche. As a producer, he only have eyes for kickass house music! At only 22 years old, Armless Kid caught the attention of La Chinerie (a music collective in Paris) for the first time in 2015, with whom he produced the EP ‘Connard de hipster’ (‘Fucking hipster’) that got noticed, especially the tracks ‘Renforcement musculaire’ (‘Muscle strengthening’)  and ‘Canal Saint Martin’. Then, He released EPs on Copie blanche, Hustler trax and in july 2017 on the infamous label of Derrick Carter : Classic music company.

Ed grew into making music guided by a love for the jazz and soul music of the 60’s 70’s and its reincarnation and revival in the hiphop sound of the 90’s as it was crafted by crews like Tribe Called Quest. This phase was instrumental in Ed’s process of understanding music and making it.

After a more experimental period, he finally fell in love with house music, centering around New Jersey house and dub-infused garage but always feeding his dj-sets with a big range of different styles from NY house to deep Italo house and techno and dubtech. Despite his wide variety of musical influences, Ed always handles the turntables with a very classic approach, delivering a sound that is deep and dubby but very bumpy at the same time.

German born and Amsterdam based Retromigration has been carving out a name for himself in the last year by producing a refreshing and raw sound in his in music. It's a deliberate and elegantly explosive blend capable of giving shape to deep, immersive beats that look toward the future while paying tribute to the past. With only a handful of releases under his belt, the producer and DJ with Nigerian and Ghanaian roots, has already made waves with releases on Wolf Music, Healthy Scratch, Rhythm Section and Heist Recordings  with forthcoming projects and  his debut album with Wolf Music coming in the beginning of next year. Retromigration is cementing himself as someone to watch.
