Biografia

Born and raised in Sapporo, Japan, and now residing in Austin, Texas, Qrion creates melancholic, wistful, dancefloor-minded music ranging from soft, exploratory works to driving house and soul-sampling grooves. Her light and playful touch has earned her global acclaim, with releases on Anjunadeep, Last Night on Earth, Mad Decent, Ultra Music, and more, as well as remixes for Booka Shade, Röyksopp, CRi, and others. Named to Forbes Japan’s 30 Under 30 and supported by BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Pete Tong as well as Anna Lunoe, Mall Grab, Todd Edwards, and Lane 8, she was also recognized by Spotify’s EQUAL Program with a Times Square billboard. In 2021, she released her debut album I Hope It Lasts Forever via Anjunadeep, was awarded DJ Mag’s Future Star, and was included in Billboard’s 20 Best Dance Albums. She has since released “High & Dry” with Sasha and the singles “Hush My Heart (feat. Josie Man)” and “Keep On Moving Up” from her 2025 album We Are Always Under The Same Sky.
