Biografia

Humble beginings go way back. Tuba and Trombone, to Bass Guitar in Middle and High-School. At Uni, the switch was to The "Upright Bass" as my primary instrument. A truly natural progression. A more intuitive way to mesh and bond as one with the instrument. The Univerity environment was all about Jazz. So the "stand up bass" became an exciting new challenge. (And is most certainly the reason I built and play my two fretless P-Basses). After soaking up as much Live Performance Experience, Music Theory, Class Piano, Sight-Singing, etc. the original goal of becoming a Music Instructor was jettisoned for that of a DJ/Producer. Although at the time, I had no idea of how the music was made, or even being played in the DJ booth. As the internet was not yet a thing. Rising through the ranks organically. From "lolipop raver" dacing until way past noon. To fledgling DJ with trembing hands playing his first open air festival. Onto one of the DJs around town "with a name." All the way to being the third DJ in history to play the Sydney Opera House Auditorum. It's been a long, strange, beautiful, and at times extremely difficult road. That said. I am a former child of the ghetto who grew up in extreme poverty. Prison and or death became the fate of most of the young boys I grew up with. Music literally saved my life. I live every beat, note, word, and title I've ever published. Thank you to the people around the world who've made it all possible. I do it for you.
