Ruud S is the experimental production name of Montpellier musician Rudy Serieys. His interest in electronic music developed in the 1990s; he began making music in 2005 and releasing it digitally in 2014, with house and techno as recurring influences. Remix competitions helped bring some of those early productions to labels. Ruud S sits alongside his other names, including Rudy Serieys for hypnotic techno, LeruD for house and Fatbacker Lab for minimal deep tech. He also runs Random Signal Recordings, whose scope includes experimental, acid, deep and dub techno.
