Sean McCabe's house music draws on the musicianship of soul, jazz and gospel, with a particular affection for the synthesizers and arrangements of classic boogie records. Based in Bristol, he works across soulful house, deeper grooves and garage-influenced dubs, bringing that breadth into both his productions and DJ sets.
A long relationship with King Street Sounds helped establish him as a remixer, with work for artists including Dennis Ferrer, Blaze and Evelyn Champagne King. His own recordings have appeared on Local Talk, Vega Records and Z Records, which released his debut album It's Time. Behind the decks, repeated appearances at Southport Weekender became an important part of his development, though he has spoken just as warmly about small rooms where he can connect closely with the crowd.
Good Vibrations grew from Bristol parties into the label he founded in 2016. It continues his interest in collaboration and musical exploration, giving him space to develop songs and arrangements alongside artists who share those interests.
