Biografia

Dan Stone's trance is built around melody, from the euphoric lift of his Fables work to the more progressive sound explored through Argento. The British DJ and producer developed that range across Anjunabeats, Enhanced and Future Sound of Egypt, later co-founding Fables with Ferry Tayle. His rework of Matt Darey and Kate Louise Smith's See the Sun became a defining release, while collaborations with Stine Grove brought a song-led dimension to his productions. A DJ since the 1990s, Stone has taken his music to Tomorrowland, A State of Trance and FSOE world-tour events. In a 2026 interview, he described See the Sun as a career-changing record, but singled out Kito as a more personal touchstone: its melody still moves him when he plays it. That distinction captures the emotional focus behind both his uplifting tracks and his slower-burning progressive work.
