Microtrauma is the collaborative project of two longtime friends and musicians, Daniel Päßler and Ricardo Linke. Based in Annaberg-Buchholz, Germany. With deep early influences, heartfelt personal touch, and a collaborative chemistry rooted in friendship, Daniel and Ricardo have forged a rich melodic techno identity that resonates globally. From longing techno landscapes to festival stages on distant continents, their music retains emotional gravity, inventive structure, and undeniable spirit.
The duo has worked and remixed notable artists including Max Cooper, Ryan Davis, Egbert, Fairmont, Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Minilogue, Solee, Gabriel Ananda and many more.
With their breakout tracks they earning support from high-profile artists like John Digweed, Sasha, and James Zabiela, even featuring in Zabiela’s BBC Essential Mix.
Their music has appeared on respected labels such as Future Romance, Traum Schallplatten, Parquet Recordings, Einmusika, Soulful Techno, and Cocoon, reflecting both versatility and quality.
Microtrauma has performed extensively across the globe, with live shows in Argentina, France, Israel, Australia, Canada, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Austria, UK, Wales, Hungary, Serbia, and the Canary Islands.
