Biografia
For FJL, progressive house grows out of the experience of being on the dancefloor as much as the work of building a track. Rosario-based Fausto Javier Loza combines house and techno influences with deep grooves, restrained melodic sequences and an interest in contrast between introspection and energy. His productions have appeared on Mango Alley, Sound Avenue, Higher States and Proportion, and his collaboration with Ezequiel Arias, Color Divino, was included in Anjunadeep 16.
His Forgotten Angels EP for Higher States shows different sides of that approach: an emotionally driven title track alongside rhythm-led material that does not depend on a full melody. In DJ sets, he brings his own unreleased work into dialogue with selections from other producers, choosing the music according to the room and its intensity. Rather than following a production trend, he aims to make the kind of music he wants to hear while dancing.
