Handsdown is a Melbourne-born DJ and producer with over 15 years of experience shaping dance floors through a refined blend of progressive, indie dance and techno. Known for emotive, driving sets that balance atmosphere with forward momentum, he has toured extensively across Australia, appearing at many of the country’s biggest festivals and parties and earning a reputation as a reliable, high-impact performer.
As a producer, Handsdown’s work has been released on respected international labels including Massano’s Simulate, Pavel Petrov’s KONQ.EXE, IbogaTech, Carbon’s Tough Toys, and Lampe’s Alula Tunes, positioning him firmly within the global underground circuit.
Outside of touring and production, Handsdown is actively involved in building sustainable electronic music culture. He runs the non-for-profit label Hopeless Music, which raises funds for suicide awareness and mental health charities aswell as releasing forward thinking music from producers in Australia and around the world, is part of the Morning After booking agency, and is a driving force behind Victorias Interstellar Groove festival.
With a sound that prioritises emotional depth, groove and precision, Handsdown continues to connect dance floors while contributing meaningfully to the culture that surrounds him.
