Biografia

Ray Hurley came through the London clubs where US house helped shape the emerging UK garage sound. His early warm-up sets at the Gass Club led to appearances across the Sunday scene, including the Wag, the Arches and the Frog and Nightgown. Production became another part of that involvement: he worked with Scott Garcia as the Dub Monsters and developed SweeterGroove with Chris Bass, alongside solo releases and remixes for artists such as Another Level and Montell Jordan. Hurley later helped establish Sub London with Bass, Hermit and Daniel Ward. His continuing work with Bass connects that history to a catalogue spanning garage, deep house and soulful club music.
