Biografia
Phaxe is Kevin Josefsen's progressive trance project, combining dancefloor momentum with a playful melodic sensibility. His early involvement in the European party scene led to experiments with music on a Nintendo console and professional audio-engineering studies in 2006. A first release followed on Iono Music in 2007, with Swing King arriving the next year. His subsequent relationship with Iboga brought the debut album Calm Under Pressure.
Collaboration has remained a substantial part of Josefsen's work, including productions with Morten Granau, Audiomatic, Zyce and Flegma and remixes for Atmos, Haldolium and Symphonix. Together with Granau he also developed the deeper progressive house project High & Mighty, while O.T.B. pairs him with Martin Vice. Across solo material, partnerships and international live sets, Phaxe maintains a connection between the energy of trance and an interest in exploring different shades of progressive music.
