Bio

Born and raised in South West London, TABZ grew up surrounded by music. With both his father and uncle being DJs, he was immersed in rhythm and sound from an early age. Even in the early doors of his music journey, he was already drawn to drums, textures, and movement. At 13, he was introduced to Logic Pro in high school, where he began experimenting with orchestral compositions. This early exposure to arrangement and layering laid the foundation for the detailed, textured style that has since become his signature. Moving to Nottingham for university in his late teens was a turning point. Immersed in the city’s vibrant nightlife and student scene, TABZ honed his sound, gravitating toward the raw, high-energy beats of UK garage. His productions fuse classic garage swing with modern underground textures. Now, TABZ is taking his sound beyond the studio. His sets bring the same percussive energy that first sparked his love of music, blending forward-thinking selections with an undeniable nod to the old-school. His music has received early support from the likes of Jeremy Sylvester, Fish56octagon, and Tiffany Calver on BBC Radio 1 . TABZ is carving out his space in the UK underground scene — and he’s only just getting started.
