Bio
Ben Nicky builds DJ sets around speed and stylistic range, moving from house-tempo tracks through trance and into much faster hard dance. His own presentation puts that breadth at the centre of the project: sets can travel from 125 to 200 BPM, with familiar songs and reworks sharing space with harder club material. A touring career across the UK, Australia, North America and Asia has taken him to Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra and Creamfields.
Northern Ireland has become a particularly important part of that career, with headline shows at Belfast's SSE Arena, Ormeau Park and Custom House Square. His studio collaborations include Armin van Buuren, Diplo, Steve Aoki and Timmy Trumpet, alongside a 2021 reworking of Faithless's We Come 1. He made his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut in 2019, bringing the same cross-genre approach to a two-hour broadcast.
