Washington, D.C. producer and DJ Josh Park works as J. Park, drawing tech house and minimal into conversation with older funk and hip-hop influences. His music has reached dance floors through releases on Mindshake, High Class Nasty and Higher Viiibrations, with support from DJs including Paco Osuna and Jamie Jones. The King Konglish EP and “On The Case” are among the releases that have brought his work wider attention. His own performances span the United States, including appearances at Echostage and Soundcheck in D.C., Musica in New York and Miami’s UVA Open-Air Wynwood. Frequent collaborator Garvin is also a back-to-back DJ partner, connecting Park’s studio output with his participation in the D.C. and Philadelphia house scenes.
