OriB. The Resurrection of Sound The Miracle: From Silence to Symphony. Most artists find music; for Ori Buzaglo, professionally known as OriB., music was the miracle that brought him back to life.
Before he was a titan of the electronic underground, Ori was a world-class athlete. A star goalkeeper for Maccabi Haifa with seven Israeli championships, he reached the pinnacle of youth sports at age 14, becoming a World Champion in France. However, at 16, a catastrophic injury on the pitch changed his destiny forever. A strike to the throat ruptured his trachea, plunging him into a deep coma. Doctors gave him no chance of survival.
For 14 days, the world was silent. Then, a miracle happened. Ori woke up.
Though he spent the following year in rehabilitation, unable to speak and relearning how to use his voice, a new calling emerged from the silence. The first thing he asked for upon waking was the sound of music. That pulse became his new heartbeat.
The Journey: The Architect of the Underground
Ori began his ascent from the ground up, starting as a promoter in his hometown of Haifa, eventually moving to the "Big City" of Tel Aviv at 18 to chase his dream. He moved away from the mainstream, drawn to the "purity of the underground." Under the mentorship of the legendary Asi Kojak, Ori mastered the art of vinyl, spending his days digging through crates at the iconic "Frankie Fish" record store.
His raw talent soon earned him a seat at the table. Before he even knew how to produce, his skills as a DJ led him to open for legends like Timo Maas, Shlomi Aber, and Dusty Kid, performing at Israel’s most hallowed institutions: Haoman 17, Comfort 13, and the 04 Club.
The Evolution: Global Recognition
After five years of intensive self-study in Ableton Live, Ori released his first official track. It wasn't just a release; it was a statement. The track was immediately championed and played by the techno deity Richie Hawtin.
Since that moment, the flow of creativity has never ceased. With a staggering career spanning 24 years and a discography featuring 11 artist albums, OriB. has become a global force. His signature sound—a sophisticated fusion of Organic House, Melodic Techno, and Afro House—has found a home on the world's most prestigious labels, including HYPECUE and the renowned Cafe De Anatolia.
In 2025, his career reached a fever pitch when he was named "Artist of the Week" by Cafe De Anatolia. His chart-topping hits, including:
