Creatures is a Bristol-based drum and bass producer whose work connects a busy release schedule with a collaborative approach to the scene. Releases on Overview, Flexout Audio, Dispatch and Rebel Music have established the project across several strands of UK drum and bass. Although the name began as a group, it developed into a solo production outlet.
The imagery is part of the music’s identity. For the 2024 Creatures album on Rebel Music, tracks took their names from mythical beings, each accompanied by its own illustration. Guests including Philth, ZeroZero, Codebreaker and Joe Raygun helped shape that world. Creatures also co-created Dub Wars with OB1, turning a lockdown idea into a producer tournament. It is another expression of the same collaborative impulse: making records, sharing unreleased music and bringing other producers into the conversation.
