Bio

Guy J’s relationship with electronic music began as a teenager at Tel Aviv’s Love Parade. He has recalled seeing the event at fourteen, then gathering production equipment and treating the studio as the centre of his musical life. His first label release arrived in 2006; roughly fifteen months later, the “Save Me” EP on John Digweed’s Bedrock gave his detailed, long-form productions a wider home. In 2012 he founded Lost & Found, not as a narrow genre imprint but as a channel for music he genuinely wanted to play, releasing artists including Roy Rosenfeld, Sahar Z and Jamie Stevens alongside his own work. Years later, Guy J estimated that he was still writing around forty tracks annually and learning not to force ideas when the studio went quiet.
