Simone Volpato, also known as STOMP BOXX, was born in Venice and began his career as a producer and DJ at the age of 15, using his early musical experience to shape a distinct sound. His style is a rare fusion of techno, punk, and house, reflecting his roots and bringing an unconventional edge to both his productions and DJ sets.
Over the years, STOMP BOXX has performed at some of Italy’s most important festivals, establishing himself as a versatile and innovative artist. In 2020, he debuted on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label with the release “Expanders,” followed by further collaborations in 2021 that solidified his presence on the international techno scene.
Known for pushing boundaries, STOMP BOXX frequently incorporates analog drums and synthesizers into his live performances, creating a dynamic and immersive experience that goes beyond traditional DJing. His approach combines passion, energy, and musical experimentation, resulting in sets and productions that stand out for their originality and intensity.
