Bio

Piano and percussion underpin Max TenRoM's electronic music, which moves between downtempo, organic house and melodic techno. A musician since childhood, he brings acoustic percussion together with synthesizers, piano and electronic instruments in his live performances, while also playing DJ sets. He co-founded CULTE and has worked with Teho's Labo T, where an emphasis on melody and room for stylistic variation suited his approach. His performances have included support slots for Joris Delacroix, Monkey Safari, Sam Paganini and Worakls, as well as appearances beyond France. He values the exchange with an audience, but also the quieter work of composing at the piano: for him, live performance and time alone in the studio are complementary parts of making music.
