Joyhauser join the force of techno to trance melody and the sound of Belgian rave. Joris Cielen and Stijn Vanspauwen developed the partnership through years of friendship and local parties before their productions reached a wider audience in 2017. Their sets have taken them from Belgium’s clubs to Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop and Extrema Outdoor, then across Europe and the Americas. Releases on Terminal M and Second State established the recorded side of that partnership, but the 2023 debut album In Memoro allowed a wider account of their musical influences. MEMORO subsequently became both a live concept and their own label, giving the duo another way to develop their music, present showcases and work with other producers.
