Bio
Mark Sherry works at the intersection of techno and trance, combining percussion-led club music with the melodies and intensity of tech trance. The Scottish DJ and producer came through the rave scene of the 1990s and has continued mixing styles within his sets. His international performances include Tomorrowland, Coloursfest and a long association with Luminosity, where he first played in 2009.
He founded Outburst Records in 2014 both to control his own releases and to support the tech-trance scene, bringing artists such as David Forbes and Scot Project into the label. Outburst's radio show and events extend that work beyond the studio, while his own productions and remixes have appeared on Armada, Anjunabeats and Black Hole Recordings. A mastering engineer as well as a producer, Sherry takes particular inspiration from watching crowds respond to music, using those reactions to imagine how a new track might work live.
