Bio
WLAD is a DJ, producer, and remixer from Paris, as well as the founder of hedZup Records. Born into a family of music lovers, he grew up surrounded by Jazz, Disco, and Flamenco, learning to play various percussion instruments from a young age.
In 2020, WLAD had a very prolific year, releasing his solo EP Full Squad, which included a remix of Rich NxT that was notably playlisted by Jamie Jones for NYE 2021 Apple Music Live. His track Straight to Abu reached #4 on Beatport sales and was in the top 100 of the year’s best minimal/deep tech singles. Shortly after, he released Superformer in collaboration with DJoko, which reached #3 in sales within days and was played by some of the world’s top DJs.
Between running his label, studio work, and musical projects, WLAD has developed a mastery that allows him to constantly innovate. At the start of 2021, he announced the upcoming release of his very first full-length album, promising a collection full of surprises. Whether as a producer or in his DJ sets, WLAD has firmly established himself in the electronic music scene, leaving a lasting impression on audiences worldwide.
