TSVI treats club music as a meeting point for rhythms that do not need to share a birthplace. The London-based Italian producer Guglielmo Barzacchini draws on UK bass music, percussion-led dance styles and memories of the Mediterranean, while his Anunaku alias opens another space for more melodic, trance-tinged work.
He helped establish Nervous Horizon with Tommy Wallwork and Federico Ciampolini after their friendship developed in London. A shared Hackney Wick warehouse became part of its beginnings, and Scratcha DVA’s early encouragement helped turn the group’s music into a label as well as a party.
Barzacchini’s listening reaches beyond club genres: childhood piano lessons and his admiration for Franco Battiato sit alongside grime and UK funky in his musical history. Collaborations with object blue and DJ Babatr reflect his interest in finding common ground between distinct approaches. His 2024 Mediterraneo EP brought that curiosity into tracks shaped by peak-time DJ sets, while the more personal Stella Remota showed how far his production can travel outside that setting.
