With 30 years of experience in the vibrant world of electronic music, Kevin Kinembe has cultivated a career that reflects his passion and dedication to the art of DJing. His journey began in the intimate confines of small clubs, where he developed a unique style that captivated audiences. Kevin became a beloved fixture at Catacombes, holding a residency for 8 years, where his infectious energy and impeccable taste in music drew in crowds night after night. He then transitioned to Escape, continuing to make waves for another 8 years, solidifying his reputation as one of the most “colourful” DJs in the area. Subsequently, he became a resident at La Bush and Pulse, and remaining a key figure at Escape engaging audiences with his dynamic sets.
In recent years, Kevin shifted his focus to Afro house, a genre that resonateswith his musical sensibilities. Embracing this new direction, he began producing his own tracks, culminating in the release of his debut EP, which climbed to the top of the charts in Afro house and organic house. His latest releases, "Nakupenda" on Southwest Records and "Papo" on La Perle Records and Kwenda We on the renowned Ibiza Planet Music Label showcase his evolving sound.
