Biografía
Sascha Rydell, often called the “gentleman of techno,” is a long-time member of the iconic Fachwerk collective, known for his stripped-down, funky, and always dancefloor-driven sound. Active as a DJ since 1996, he brings over two decades of experience into his soulful, groove-heavy productions—rooted in techno, hip-hop, soul, funk, and jazz.
Born and raised in Berlin, Rydell was shaped by legendary clubs like WMF, Tresor, and E-Werk, and peers such as Mike Dehnert and Roman Lindau. His musical journey includes performances at Berghain, Trouw, and La Machine du Moulin Rouge, as well as releases on Delsin, Fachwerk, and Baum—all widely supported by international artists.
With the Fachwerk era behind him, Sascha enters a new phase: Together with Roman Lindau and Monomood, he launched ColorCode Records in 2019—a label that continues his sonic vision: Groove is central, bass is life, texture and detail are essential.
