Photek helped him establish an early studio, and releases on Timeless in 1995 introduced tracks including Touch Me and Spacefunk. A relationship with Metalheadz followed, alongside music for Moving Shadow, Photek Productions and Creative Source. Breakbeats and dub-informed bass remained central to that work.

His own Function Records provides a further outlet for solo productions and collaborations, including work with Tim Clay and Charla Green. Running the platform extends a career that began with the practical business of bringing a sound system into a room.
