Millhouse favours physical, bass-driven techno, shaped by years of DJing and a longstanding connection to Gobsmacked. Shane Flynn started behind the decks at seventeen, initially playing hard house before Dave Clarke's music helped redirect him towards techno. Production followed, with Luke Creed and Diarmaid O'Meara among his early creative connections. He moved from Ireland to Berlin in 2013 and became Gobsmacked's label manager, selecting music and helping organise events. That curatorial work extends beyond receiving demos: he finds artists through radio shows, parties and his own digging. His productions span UKR, RIOT, Khazad and Hydraulix, where the Blasphemy EP with Patrick DSP presents their shared harder-edged approach. The Midweek Fancy EP for Apex continues a catalogue grounded in energetic rhythm and low-end weight.
