Biografía

Adrian Rybka, the Polish producer who records as Satl, keeps a shared folder of finished tracks and test arrangements that Lenzman can dig through for The North Quarter; by his account their tastes overlap enough that agreeing on what should come out takes little discussion. That arrangement produced Gloom in 2022: thirteen tracks cut from about forty demos, moving between drum and bass, breaks and UK garage, and tied by Rybka to the grey Polish autumn and winter months he says he prefers. In July 2025 the SMTHN EP came out on Gemini Gemini, the label Halogenix runs, and the division of labour was plain on the sleeve: Rybka wrote and produced all four tracks, Halogenix added production and mixed them, and Verbz, Seyaa and Javeon took the vocals.
