Biografía
Founded in Romania, Quantifiq assembled around the excitement of the Minimal Techno music genre that many of us adore.
As a duo, their music aims to immerse you into the details of electronic music culture and spark a dreamlike state of mind, allowing your energy to glow in a timeless atmosphere.
At an early age, Teo and Alex had a profound affinity towards music, which has enabled their different backgrounds to bring a divergent sound to their audience. Since 2010, Teo found himself enjoying the natural sound of live instruments and the emotions they brought, which prompted him to pursue a degree in music production in the UK. Alex is the force behind live DJ-ing and 2007 saw him becoming the main act in a Romanian nightclub. This provided enough exposure for him to travel and play music for crowds in different countries.
Back in 2020, Alex and Teo met during a project shooting. The union of Quantifiq came about when both artists felt that the time was right to enter the scene together and combine their musical influences through minimal and organic grooves, blended together with trimmed-down aesthetics that exploit the contrasting sound strains. In the near future, Quantifiq plans to tap into the field of live production by fusing organic elements in their electronic performance.
Their first EP, "baboon state of mind" can be listened to on all major streaming platforms. Their most recent EPs were released in 2022 via Welter Records, Intelligent Sound, Micro Division, Resonace (NL).
