Biografía
Dave Robertson developed Reset Robot out of Portsmouth’s record shops and club culture, bringing house and techno into a single production identity. The project emerged in 2009 with music signed to Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, followed by a lasting relationship with Adam Beyer’s Truesoul. A producer, engineer and DJ, Robertson draws on the atmosphere of nights at Fabric and Slinky as much as the technical work of the studio. His DJ career has taken him across Europe, Australia and the United States, while his productions range from stripped-back club tracks to more melodic work. Collaborations with fellow Portsmouth artist Jon Gurd, including their Echo Forms releases, sit alongside solo music and his involvement in Whistleblower Records.
