London-born and Lausanne-based DJ and producer Reber is known for crafting a unique sonic identity that blends Deep House, UK Garage, Tech House, Jungle, and Minimal into an unmistakable sound. Defined by bold basslines, syncopated beats, ethereal pads, and his own vocal top lines, Reber’s music creates a captivating fusion of moody and uplifting grooves. Reber’s journey began in 2008 as part of a DJ duo, performing in clubs and festivals across Switzerland. In 2013, he embarked on a solo path, quickly making waves with remixes on Fantastic Friends and Tim Green’s “Scar.” His debut EP on Disc Over Music garnered support from Joris Voorn, Claptone, and Claude VonStroke. Collaborations with Nicolas Duvoisin led to the hit “Watermelon” on Yoyaku’s Splitools, with over 110,000 Shazam requests. After the 2020 pandemic, Reber accelerated his output, releasing music on Tip Tap, Toasty Beats, and Slightly Sizzled White. His Divine EP expanded his reach, while his track "As She Walked Into the Room", featuring his own vocals, became an anthem in Zürich, earning consistent plays and charting well into 2025. Reber’s music stands out in the Minimal Tech-House scene for its intricacy and originality. Balancing light and shadow, his productions deliver an intellectual yet danceable experience, capturing the essence of the UK underground house scene while pushing its boundaries.
