Biografía
Born in 1997 in Verona, Mattia Palmerston discovered music not just as a passion but as a language shaped by rhythm, tension and release. Drawn early to House, Tech House, Dance Electro Pop and Minimal Deep Tech, he immersed himself in sounds full of energy, groove and the vivid emotion of the dancing crowd. His journey began under the alias Matthew Palmerston, debuting on CUFF, the label founded by Amine Edge & DANCE, with the track Groovin'. As part of the duo Matthew & Francis, he expanded his musical presence through releases on Swutch Music and The Saifam Group. Later, under the name Matti (ITA), he continued exploring his artistic identity with projects on Material Series and Day Dose of House. Now producing under his full name, Mattia forms Echo District with Pietro Zancan, with their latest release on Paul’s Boutique Music reflecting a refined and matured vision rooted in instinct, craft and a deep connection to the energy of the crowd. And yes, hopefully this will finally be the last alias.
