Founded in 2009 by the dynamic duo Deekline and Ed Solo, Jungle Cakes has become a cornerstone of the drum and bass and jungle music scenes. Jungle Cakes is synonymous with vibrant, bass-heavy beats and infectious rhythms. Constantly pushing the boundaries of jungle and drum and bass, blending old-school vibes with modern production techniques. Tracks often feature a fusion of reggae, dub, and breakbeat influences, creating a unique and electrifying sound that stands out in the electronic music landscape.

Founded in 2004, the simple principal was delivering the funk with engaging music that always rocks the dance floors, regardless of genre. Started by two of the label's key artists, Mooqee & Beatvandals, each release had to be a bomb! This ethos continued throughout the initial vinyl based volume series and as the label evolved alongside the changing digital landscape, helping to develop a global funk and mid tempo scene along the way.

It's crazy to think how much the label has grown and now works with artists and partners from around the globe. Alongside individual artist releases Bombstrike is also home to the much loved Funk n' Beats, Disco Funkin' and Bass Funk compilation series, with guest curators helping the listener discover new music or unearth forgotten classics.

More than two decades since it was first conceived in a North London flat as a platform for drum & bass’s most forward-thinking artists, Critical Music has grown to become one of the most powerful and influential global forces in electronic music.

Since the first event back in 2010, Critical Sound has helped carry the label’s artists and musical philosophy far and wide, from a residency at fabric, to hosting sold-out parties at Printworks, representing D&B at Barcelona’s highly discerning Sonar festival and taking over the main stage at Boomtown.
