Illegal Alien Records is a Mexican record label of Electronic music focus on Techno, Electronica, Experimental and Ambient. Born in 2007 in Florida, USA, founded by the Mexican Ricardo Garduno.

The name ‘Illegal Alien’ was a status granted by the US government to all the immigrants who entered the country illegally were denominated like that. As a result of this, the rights of all illegal immigrants were limited or nullified in many cases. So, awarding this name to the label is a way to remember those immigrants around the world, whose objectives by leaving their countries of origin is to work for a better life and to show that, regardless of the status that other social groups attribute to us, it is possible to reach objectives.

Ten years of Terminal M means ten years of friends and family; of discovering the unknown and sharing it with the world, traveling from city to city and professing our love affair with the dancefloor.

"I chose the name Terminal M, because to me, an airport means you can fly everywhere, to any destination. Like an airport, our music can take you everywhere, but it's always dancefloor oriented! Flying, means quickly reaching your destination. In a way that was what I had in mind with my label. Right away, you should dance to the sound! As a DJ I am always open minded for different styles in the electronic music, and that is what I wanted to present on my label, too." - Monika Kruse

The label ethos of Terminal M, the concept of exploring the wide spectrums of electronic music, are rooted firmly in the world class DJ career of it's label boss, the great Dame of Techno, Monika Kruse. Acting as tastemaker, Monika has crafted the Terminal M catalog by an instinct learned through 20 years of spinning records every weekend in every major club and festival around the world. In a way, you could say that the label output of Terminal M tells the story of the last 10 years in techno.

Sister of Loose Records, Unrilis is the natural consequence of the forerunner Rilis, the Naples based revered label which Rino and Mario created in 1999. While at first, Unrilis was focused on publishing the incredible amount of unreleased works that Rino Cerrone composed throughout the years. At the present, the label is also suited as a theme music lab, a platform for talented artists who are constantly adding their own distinctive musical perception while performing in total creative freedom. 

Grounded on the grassroots structures of deep-house and tech-house, the label claims a sound that is instantaneously familiar and unconventional, outside the realm of typical.
