New Generation Records is an Indie House Music label based out of New Jersey USA Started With Mike LaBirt, Larry LaBirt, Larry P.Rauson, Joe Ruvolo, Ricci & Jerry Melillo in 1987 Kevin Oliphant Came on later. We started off with the very Successful DJ's On Vinyl Series which sold thousands of copies we could not keep up with the demand. The first DJ's On Vinyl vol.1 Featuring Larry P Rauson Larry LaBirt "Oh Larry" was played By Legendary DJ Larry Levan. DJ Tony Humphries was an early supporter of our music. We used to bring him reel to reels and he would play them at Zanzibar. Kevin O took over at Zanzibar so we started to bring him Reels to play, that's when he joined the New Generation Records team.
