Dreaming Awake is that state of delirium when you’re walking in a dream world, not fully awake, but certainly not asleep. In this state of mind music can sound exceptionally awesome as the delirium state can be quite psychedelic. This is the basis Treavor Moontribe (Desert Dwellers, PheuZen) used when deciding the name of his record label, which focuses on various styles of deeper more trippy techno, house and progressive genres. Started at the end of 2019, the label has been top 10 on the Beatport charts countless times and welcomes some of the worlds top producers such as Gai Barone, Jamie Stevens, D-Nox & Beckers, Extrawelt, Stan Kolev and Pole Folder to name just a few. With a massive future release schedule and the support of many top DJs and Producers worldwide, Dreaming Awake is set to reach new heights of magical delirium!

Dreaming Awake

Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators.

The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical.

Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.

Max Freegrant is a truly prolific dance music producer who has a rich history of composing music and crafting big hitting club cuts for labels such as Anjuna, Toolroom, Armada, Black Hole, and his own imprint Freegrant Music. His back catalog covers a decade of releases with support from a wide range of DJ A-listers like Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz, Steve Angelo, Grum, Paul Oakenfold and Axwell to name a few. His tracks always manage to fill floors worldwide and have often become crossover progressive house and trance anthems, that have seen both underground and chart success. Max is someone who has risen through the ranks to become one of the most referenced and influential producers of the progressive house and progressive trance genres. His experience and outlook makes for a fine craftsman when performing as a DJ, whether he reaches for an old school gem or state of the art ID, he always surprises dance floors with his warmth and passion, taking his listeners on a seamless journey.

BC2 is a new digital imprint from Balkan Connection label group, managed by Milos Miladinovic with A&R services from label’s close friends, such as Ivan Filipov (d-phrag), Vasil Mihov (Toppy) and Sasha Skiff (Ultraverse), who will also be developing releases to the label. BC2 aim is to unite talents of electronic music, from established to upcoming names, on the way to conquer the world stage of electronic music.
