Biografie
Luciano Esse is a DJ, producer and party organiser whose understanding of house and techno was built through years of regular club work. His story begins with southern Italy's party crews in the early 1990s and continues through London's underground, where he played fabric and The End and co-founded the travelling ZUM parties with Antonio De Angelis.
Residencies have been particularly important to that story. Esse played for The Flame Music Department at Amnesia in Milan, joined We Love Sundays at Space Ibiza for the summers of 2006 and 2007, and began a long association with Taranto's Sound Department in 2010. These were sustained relationships with clubs and their crowds, running alongside his work as a promoter.
His productions cover several shades of house and techno, with Safari Electronique, Leftroom and Material Series among his label connections. Collaborations with Arnaud Le Texier and Toni D sit beside solo work, while the Still Moving EP brought him to Beard Man with a remix from Mark Broom. Across those different settings, the DJ booth remains a central part of Esse's musical identity.
