Istanbul-born and based, Ferhat Albayrak is one of the true pioneers of techno in his territory. Istanbul, a city of chaos and diversity, forms the foundation of Ferhat’s sound-dynamic, distinctive, and technologic, yet deeply soulful. A passionate techno enthusiast since the genre’s early days, Ferhat has been spinning records since 1996, shaping the scene with his innovative approach to music.
His impressive and extensive gig portfolio includes iconic venues and festivals such as Space Ibiza, Global Gathering UK, Sonar Festival, Love Parade, and nearly every prominent club and festival in the region. In 2024, Ferhat has already marked key performances, including a standout 'All Night Long' set at the sold-out VW Arena show with 3,500 attendees and a featured slot at Rave The Planet Berlin, further solidifying his position as Turkey's leading techno artist.
Ferhat’s discography since 2007 includes releases on respected labels like Tronic, Intec, Second State, Elevate, and KD Raw, among others. His track “Evolving Wisdom” on Jeton Records reached the No. 3 spot on the Beatport Techno Chart, earning him recognition in global techno circles.
Supported by industry heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, and Adam Beyer -who consistently play and release his music- Ferhat has shared the stage with these legends on numerous occasions.
As the founder of Jeton Records, established in 2009, Ferhat has built the region’s most influential international techno imprint while also leading as its largest techno promoter. Through Jeton, he continues to elevate the genre in Turkey and beyond, hosting events, releasing cutting-edge music, and providing a platform for emerging talent.
