Biografie

Rob Tissera's career runs from late-1980s pirate radio and the early British rave scene to international house, trance and hard-house stages. Based in Leeds, he is a DJ whose range has remained broader than any one genre: his sets and productions span old-school dance music, house and electro as well as harder club sounds. Regular appearances for Tidy, Goodgreef, Clockwork Orange and other long-running parties sit alongside extensive touring in Australia and New Zealand and many seasons playing Ibiza. In the studio, his partnership with Ian Bland as Quake produced The Day Will Come and music for Human Traffic. He has also delivered a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and broadcasts from Ibiza. More recent work includes a Quake, Rob Tissera and Technikal remix of York's The Awakening, while his autobiography The Smiler documents the experiences behind that long career.
