Capron is an Amsterdam-based duo revolutionizing House music with a unique blend of house, funky, underground, and minimal elements inspired by the vibrant energy of 90s House. Comprising Sil, a skilled producer and keyboardist, and Yazmani, a bassist and adept record digger, Capron combines their complementary talents to create groovy, dancefloor-ready tracks.
The name "Capron" honors the World War I-era airplane manufacturer Caproni, symbolizing their mission to "drop musical bombs." Their journey began during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, but they waited until late 2023 to debut their polished sound with a release on Ovrdose Records, followed by collaborations with renowned labels like Mood Child, Too Many Rules, Moody Disco, Nature, Roush & Denser to name a few.
Capron has achieved milestones like performing at Thuishaven, topping Beatport’s Jackin House chart, and having their tracks played by legends like Marco Carola, Franky Rizardo, East End Dubs, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Dennis Cruz, Paco Osuna, The Martinez Brothers and Joseph Capriati. With more releases and gigs lined up, Capron is steadily building momentum, living their dream of creating music that moves people.
