Prins Thomas is a Norwegian DJ, producer and remixer closely associated with the country's expansive take on disco. His musical background reaches through hip-hop and electro, bass playing and bands, and years spent collecting records. That breadth informs a sound often called space disco, although he has expressed little enthusiasm for restrictive genre labels.

His partnership with Lindstrøm began in 2003, bringing together two musicians with varied band backgrounds and a shared appetite for records. Working in the same Oslo studio building, they developed a collaborative method in which either could pick up and transform the other's ideas.

Thomas also founded Full Pupp to give Norwegian producers a home for music he felt did not need validation from overseas labels.
