Biografie

Bou failed his college music production course while the tracks he was making at home were being picked up by established drum and bass artists. He told DJ Mag in 2023 that the course accepted only work made in Logic or Ableton, and everything he built was in FL Studio, which he had taught himself as a teenager from YouTube tutorials and the SoundCloud jump-up community. The Manchester producer started a first label, Diamond Audio, in 2017 and later admitted he had no idea how to run one; releasing on Kasra's Critical Music in 2019, when the Focus On The Love EP appeared with Enei, was where he says he learned how a label is run properly. Gossip, the imprint he set up in 2021, came out of that; Cous Cous with Inja was among its first releases.
